a gift registry is perfect to keep all your desired items in one convenient place! whether you're getting ready for your new arrival, gearing up for your child's upcoming birthday, or just looking for a handy checklist, a registry is the perfect starting point for you. registries make it much easier for you by simplifying the gift selection process, allowing you to compare different items, and, most importantly, stopping your friends and family from accidentally buying things you already have or don't need. simple!

do I need a mothercare account to create a registry?
  • yes, to create a registry you will require an active mothercare account.
do I need a mothercare account to view a registry?
  • yes, to view a friend or family member's registry you will require an active mothercare account.
how do I create a registry?
  • once logged in to your account, click on the 'my account' page and select registry. From there, click on 'create registry'.
how do I find my registry?
  • once logged in to your account, click on the my account' page and select registry. From there, click on 'registries list' and then select any of your previously created registries.
how do I add items to my registry?
  • browse our webstore and find the product you would like to add to your registry. Click into the product page and click the 'select registry' option in the page. Then choose the desired registry to add to. If you have no yet created a registry, you can also create one within the product page.
how do I purchase an item from my own registry?
  • locate your chosen registry via the 'registry list' option under the 'my account' page. Select the 'add to cart' option within the page for your chosen item(s), then proceed to checkout.
how do I purchase an item from my friends registry?
  • Login to your mothercare account, then proceed to click on your friends registry link. Select the 'add to cart' option within the page for your friend's chosen item(s), then proceed to checkout.
how do I share my registry with my friends & family?
  • after creating a shareable registry, click the 'copy registry' button. Then send the link across to your friends and family by whatsapp or email. You can also get the link to your registry from within the 'registries list' page.
how do I find my friend's registry?
  • if your friend has created a shareable registry, ask them to share across the registry link for you to purchase from.
who can purchase from my registry?
  • if your registry is private, only you can view and purchase from your registry. If your registry is shareable, then anyone who you share your registry link with is able to purchase from it.
how do I edit my registry details?
  • if you need to edit your delivery address, contact number or personal details, please contact our customer service team on the whatsapp icon below.
how can I see which items are yet to be purchased in my friends registry?
  • all items which have not been purchased, will have a 'pending purchase' status within the registry.
how do I know if an item has been purchased?
  • within your registry, the status of your item will change from 'pending purchase' to its current processing status.
how do I know who purchased an item from my registry on my behalf?
  • The buyer has the choice to include a personalized message with your item during checkout. If no message was included, please reach out to our customer service team via the WhatsApp icon below for further assistance.
How do I share my gift registry with people who want to buy items from my registry?
  • after creating a registry, you will be prompted with an option to 'copy registry link'. Select this, then proceed to forward to your friends and family via whatsapp or email. Alternatively, you can also gain the link from your 'registries list' inside the 'my account' page.
can I delete my gift registry?
  • yes, inside the your specific registry there is an option to delete it. Once done, mothercare will be unable to retrieve the details of your deleted registry.
can gift registry items be purchased in store?
  • no, currently registry items can only be purchased via our online store.
what if the item is only available for click & collect?
  • we are currently unable to process gift registry orders using our click & collect feature. All gift registry orders will be for home delivery only.
can I add more than the same item more than once into my registry?
  • yes, after adding the item to your registry simply click the edit quanity option within the registry details page
what happens if my gift registry item is out of stock?
  • you will need to wait until the item is back in stock before it can be purchased. We advise that you select the 'notify me' option within the product page. This will send an email notification to yoy when the item is available to be purchased.
can I have more than one registry?
  • yes, you can have an unlimited number of registries.
can I leave a message for the reciever when placing my order?
  • During the checkout process, you have the option to add a personalized message to be included with the recipient's order.
does mothercare provide gift wrapping?
