• The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus has a belt installation in order to fit any car, as you cannot predict which car your taxi or your Uber driver will pick you up with. You need to slide the vehicle belt in the two lap belt slots located under the backrest cover and place the diagonal part in the red lock-off. Is the Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus equipped with ISOFIX connectors?

• The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus is not equipped with ISOFIX connectors as it is built for travel. Thanks to its light weight (4,26 kg), Nomad Plus is easy to take everywhere. ISOFIX connectors would have added weight, making Nomad less easy to transport. Even without ISOFIX connectors, Nomad Plus is very safe to use thanks to its belt installation.

• You can store the Nomad Plus travel bag under the seat. A storage location is created with this purpose. Once folded, you can attach the travel bag to the seat thanks to 4 push buttons installed on the bag. No risk to lose it!

How can I wash the Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus cover?

• The cover, headrest cover and shoulder pads can be removed for washing. Before cleaning, check the label sewn into the different part of the fabric. You will find the wash symbols indicating the method of washing each item. If the cover needs to be replaced at any time, only use official Maxi-Cosi cover because it constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance. To clean the shell, you can use a damp cloth. • All group 1 car seats of Maxi-Cosi have 5 point safety harness with one-pull adjustment. This harness distributes the forces of an impact best over the strong bones of the child and into the seat. Additionally, the 5 point harness allows perfect adjustment of the child and keep him secured in the safest position in the seat.

What is the right position/height for the safety harness?

• The harness straps should be placed at the level of the shoulders, not coming from above nor below. The headrest should be adjusted in consequence, keeping the harness at the level of the shoulders.

What is the right position for the headrest of my child car seat?

• The headrest should be positioned in such a way that in a forward facing position the eyes and ears of the child are located in the middle of the headrest. This means that the child's head can exceed the headrest. In a rearward facing position the head should not exceed the headrest.

Can the anti-slip shoulder pads material be painful for child during the summer?

• The anti-slip harness pads play an important safety role. It offers high restraint performance by reducing forward facing movement in case of a frontal impact. This material has been selected for these high performance restraint criteria and because it is soft, it is not painful for the child regardless of the temperature in the car. How long can I use the Nomad Plus car seat?

• The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus car seat is designed to suit children from 9 to 18kg (approx. 15 months up to 4 years) and is developed for an intensive use of 12 years after purchase. To ensure the safety of your child(ren) during the lifespan of the car seat, make sure that the product is not damaged (harness or pads lost, etc.).

Can I install the Nomad Plus rearward facing?
